Climate Change and Food Security

The Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) research program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) recently came out with a report titled "Mapping Hotspots of Climate Change and Food Insecurity in the Global Tropics." This report examined populations vulnerable to food insecurity presently and combined this information with projections for the future going to 2050 that were developed from the the Fourth Assessment Report (AR4) of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
